• Authentication credentials – handled securely by our sign-in provider (Firebase Authentication). We never store your plaintext password.
• Optional diagnostics – if enabled, we may receive basic crash or performance data from Firebase Crashlytics or Analytics.

We do not collect payment information, contacts, location data, or any other personal identifiers.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account.
• To sync your movie collection and wishlist.
• To improve app reliability and security.
• To fix crashes or technical issues if diagnostics are enabled.

Sharing and Selling

• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not share your data with advertisers or marketers.
• We only use trusted service providers (such as Google Firebase) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security agreements.

• All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.

• We use Firebase's built-in protections and follow industry-standard security practices.

Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your account data while your account is active.
• You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
• When deleted, your personal data is permanently removed or anonymized unless required by law to retain it.

Children's Privacy

Slipcover is not directed to children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that a child has created an account, we will delete it promptly.

International Data Transfers

Slipcover is based in Canada and uses cloud services (such as Google Firebase) that may process data in the United States or other regions. By using the app, you consent to this processing.

Your Rights and Choices

• You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time.
• You may disable analytics or crash reporting from your device settings.
• You may unsubscribe from any non-essential emails (if sent).
