I built Slipcover for a simple reason: the movies we own are beautiful, all those spines lined up, that shimmering row of steelbooks, or that line of stylized C's on your shelf, but the tools we use to track them... aren't. I got tired of websites bloated with ads where you can't tell what to click, or apps locked behind paywalls.

I wanted a home for my collection that felt as premium as the movies themselves. So, I built the tool I always wanted to use. Free, modern, and "slick". With no ads (well to be fair there are affiliate links but only on movies in your wishlist I figured hey if you are planning on buying them anyways).

Slipcover is designed to be the modern standard for collectors:

• No App Required: Scan barcodes directly in your mobile browser.
• Your Collection, Your Look: Don't settle for stock product photos. Pick the artwork that you want, the one that hits you in the feels.
• Total Control: Can't find a rare title? Add it manually. Moving from another site? Import your existing collection in seconds.
• More Than a List: Build custom checklists, share them with the community, or manage your wishlist for the next big sale.
• Physical Backups: Generate a beautiful, printable PDF of your library to keep a physical record of your physical media.

This is a passion project built by a collector, for collectors.
